3. DUCKS   &   PHEASANTS    HUNT

 

If someone wants to nominate the best wild place in Europe for ducks hunting then I am confient that he will say… Danube Delta and its surroundings. Some of the ducks are sedentary, others are nesting in the Danube Delta and some others are coming just in migration. There is no other place in Europe where you can find so many different species of ducks to hunt; mallard, godwall, pochard, goldeneye, shoveler, red crested pochard, pintail, ferruginous, teal, wigeon.
The ducks hunt in the Danube Delta is mostly done from hunting boats due to the fact that with the hunting boat you can enter in very shallow waters in the middle of the wild where the water is very low ,a natural habitat where ducks are coming from the morning till the noon time.Do not worry,you do not have to drive the engine boat,you have with you a specialized ranger that will acompagny you during the whole hunt .The ranger is taking care of the plastic decoys,he is playing the bird caller,collect the hunted birds.The hunt begin in the early morning and finish around noon time when the ducks do not fly any more.We leave the hunting place and the surrounding area,so the birds will come back in the next morning.In a  normal day hunt should bring you a good number of different species of hunted ducks .In the afternoon,after lunch will take our dogs and step on the fields for a wild pheasant hunt.Will be accommodated on a 4**** floating hotel anchored  near our hunting places.Your hunted birds will be refrigerated in case you will take them home with you.For this you need a veterinary certificate - which will be given to you with our help – from theveterinary laboratory from Tulcea.If you need that the birds to be  cleaned we will do it for you.The food which will be served in the floating hotel restaurant is all home made, with fruits and vegetables from our garden. Fresh eggs, milk, butter, chesse and many other products are from our land farm.

Day 1 Arrival at Otopeni airport and transfer to Tulcea the gateway of the Danube Delta.
Dinner and cocktail information.Accomodation on floating hotel.
Day 2 Early breakfast and ducks hunting program until aprox. 12,00. Lunch. Afternoon pheasants hunting program on the fields. Dinner
Day 3 Early breakfast and ducks hunting program until aprox. 12,00. Lunch. Afternoon pheasants hunting program on the fields. Dinner
Day 4 Early breakfast and ducks hunting program until aprox. 12,00. Lunch.
